Sarah Kate Decker - Class of 2018
When I think of Sarah Kate Decker, I think of someone is smart, uber-talented, incredibly fashion oriented, and is as sweet and kind as the day is long. She has been so much fun to get to know and to work with this year and we were delighted to have her on our Senior Model Rep Team.
The end of May is here, school is over and Sarah Kate Decker is ending her high school career at Harrison High School. Next, she is getting ready to move on to some really exciting new things.
As a graduating Class of 2018 Senior, Sarah Kate spent her years at Harrison on Student council, taking honors french, and outside of school, pursued a career in modeling,
She came on board as one of our Senior Model Reps for the Class of 2018, doing both senior pictures with us and also participating in a variety of group styled photo shoots with us this year as well.
Modeling opportunities have taken her to a variety of cities all over the US. The two images below was taken while on one of our group shoots with our Teen and Senior Reps to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Sarah Kate was also one of our model reps who participated in our Sisterhood of the Traveling Dress photography project. This project involved one dress which traveled all over the US to a variety of high school senior photographers.
Each photographer had models who have worn the dress and have been photographed in it. Once they have finished their photo shoot, the dress makes it's way across the US to another photographer. The end result will be a magazine of images showcasing the dress and the models who wore it.
Sarah Kate is excited and ready for high school to be over. She said "I liked getting to see my friends every day but i disliked all of the worksheets I had to do."
She is heading to Georgia Southern University where she has already enrolled as a summer student, pursuing a major in Interior Design, and will be moving into her dorm in just a few weeks.
Before she leaves for Georgia Southern, she will be traveling out of the country with family to France and London She can't wait for this trip and is has been looking forward to it for months.
Heading off to college is exciting, but Sarah Kate says she is going to miss a lot of things about home. "I'm going to miss crazy late night adventures with friends, doing fun activities with my family and overall I'm going to miss the life I've grown up with. But I'm also excited to start a new life of my own!
Getting my senior pictures done with Chuck Williams Photography was the best possible decision me and my family could've possibly made for my senior pictures! They are so friendly and take gorgeous pictures! I couldn't be happier with how they all turned out.
Sarah Kate, I am going to miss you so much and hope that you will continue to come back and participate in more photo shoots with us while you are at college!
