WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

We are located in West Cobb near Marietta.  Our clients come to us from all over Metro Atlanta including Marietta, Roswell, Powder Springs, Dallas, Hiram, Rockmart, Douglaville, Acworth, and Kennesaw.  We service clients from Cobb, Paulding, Fulton, Bartow, Douglas, Polk, and Carroll Counties.

 

 

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A PHOTO SHOOT?

Simple!  Just have a parent give us a call at 404-925-2921.  We can chat and will help you with everything from what to wear, deciding on the best date for you.  It’s all very easy and we can answer any questions you might have at the same time.

 

 

WHO WILL PHOTOGRAPH ME?

Beverly Williams is the owner and primary photographer. She personally photographs all of our children, teens, high school seniors, professional head shots and families.  You will get to work directly with her every step of the way.

 

 

I’M NERVOUS BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER BEEN PROFESSIONALLY PHOTOGRAPHED

Don’t worry!  Whether you are coming to us for teen pictures, senior pictures, family pictures or head shots, ninety percent of the people who come to us have never been professionally photographed.  Beverly is experienced at working with people of all ages and will make you feel super comfortable.  She will show you everything you need to know.

 

 

I HEARD YOU HAVE A REP PROGRAM FOR TEENS AND HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS – HOW DOES THAT WORK?

We have an amazing program for teens and high school seniors that incorporates a personal photo shoot and the ability to participate in group photo shoots as well.  Our model reps as we call them, are not models at all, but are average guys and girls.   There are no height or weight requirements to be a model rep.   Being a rep is a lot of fun and gives teens the opportunity to do photo shoots with a professional photographer, meet other local teens and we also have get togethers and do fun activities from time to time.  Most of our reps are extremely busy with school and extra curricular activities.  There is no time requirement from us to be a rep.  Some are more involved than others.  Once you have your individual shoot which only takes one afternoon, you are eligible to sign up to participate in a group shoot whenever your schedule permits.  You can find more information about being a model rep here: 

WHEN I LOOK AT THE PHOTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE, ALL OF THE TEENS LOOK LIKE MODELS

None of our girls are professional models.  They are just regular, every day teens just like you.   Everyone has different features that are amazing and our job is to capture the best in you.  Nearly every one of the teens who comes to us has wondered about this.  During your session, we will show you a couple of images from the back of the camera as we are taking them.  Every time we do this, our clients eyes light up and they get the biggest smile on their faces!  Many girls have told us "oh my gosh, I look like one of those models on your website!".  That's the biggest compliment you can give us!

 

 

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

Yes, our full service studio is located in our home and we have been photographing clients here for nine years.  We are conveniently located in West Cobb near Marietta, close to The Avenue West Cobb.

 

 

WHERE DO YOUR OUTSIDE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

We have a variety of fantastic locations in and around the Marietta area and in Metro Atlanta that we go to for the outside portion of our session.  Whether you are wanting a wheat field, grassy field, a mountainous setting, a city setting, a setting with water, a field of flowers or urban graffiti walls, we have hundreds of different locations that we go to for our sessions.  When you call us, be sure to tell us if there is a specific type of location you’d like for your photo shoot.  Don't worry, we have lots of Senior Picture Ideas for your session!

 

 

HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION LAST? 

We have several different types of sessions and each is a little different.  But typically, from start to finish, we spend about 2.5 to 3 hours with each client.  Part of that time is spent filling out initial paperwork, changing clothes, and traveling to the outside portion of your photo session.

 

WHO ALL SHOULD ACCOMPANY ME TO MY PHOTO SESSION?

Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent accompany them on their photo session.  We suggest bringing just one adult to your actual photo session – the fewer people, the more relaxed you are likely to be. 

 

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

Yes, you may!  Some of our clients choose to bring a friend to their session. Friends are great at making you laugh and are often good at helping you feel relaxed at your session.

 

CAN YOU INCLUDE MY PET AT MY SESSION?

We often include pets in photo sessions.  Please contact the studio prior to your session and let us know that you want to bring a pet. We will make special arrangements for this to happen.

 

I HEARD THAT YOU HAVE CLOTHING IN YOUR STUDIO THAT WE CAN BORROW

Yes!  Our studio has an amazing Style closet for girls filled with the latest fashions that you can borrow.  We also have a variety of trendy hats and jewelry like chokers and fashionable bracelets that everyone loves.

 

TELL ME ABOUT HAIR AND MAKE UP?  WHAT IF I DON’T REALLY WEAR A LOT OF MAKE UP?

Great question!  We have a partnership with MAC Cosmetics at Belk Marietta across from The Avenue.  The MAC make up artists are professionals at what they do.  All of our clients have their make up done at MAC.  All you have to do is call them and let them know that you are doing a photoshoot with Beverly from Chuck Williams  and that you want to make an appointment to have your make up done.   Their appointments usually last about an hour so, we recommend scheduling your make up appointment 1 ½ hours prior to your photo session appointment. 

 

When you arrive for your make up appointment, tell the make up artist how you want your make up to look.  If you don’t usually wear a lot of make up, tell them you want a natural look.  They are amazing at evening out skin tones and enhancing your eyes to give you a professional, polished, but natural look. 

It’s very important to have your make up done professionally by someone who knows how to apply it for studio lighting.  The make up artists at MAC are all amazing.  We work with each and every one of them, so there is no need to request any particular artist for your session.

 

We have found that most girls like to do their hair themselves and we encourage them to do so.  You should arrive at the studio with your hair and make up all ready for the camera.

 

 

DO YOU ALSO PHOTOGRAPH GUYS AS WELL?

Yes!  We photograph not only girls, but guys too!  We have photographed lots of guys over the years from football players, to lacrosse players, soccer players and wrestlers.  We have photographed guys who are musicians, and guys who are totally into their cars.  We also photograph guys who are into music and video games.  

 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF ITS SUPPOSED TO RAIN ON THE DAY OF MY PHOTO SHOOT?

Weather reports change quickly and frequently from one day to the next.  We will watch the weather forecast closely on the day of your session.  If it’s raining, we will reschedule to a different day that works for you.

 

 

HOW SOON WILL I SEE MY PICTURES AFTER MY PHOTO SHOOT?

At the time that you call to book your photo session, we will also schedule a viewing and ordering appointment.  This appointment takes place in our studio, within one week after your session, sometimes sooner.  At this appointment, we will show you all of your final images and will help you narrow them down to your favorites.  We will also help you choose prints and products from your images that fit your needs.  Our print packages start at $500.  We have an amazing array of beautiful products including hardcover albums, image boxes, wall canvases and more.  We are known for the professional products that we offer.

 

 

HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

It generally takes 4-6 weeks to get your order back.  We will contact you to let you know as soon as your order is ready and will make arrangements to personally deliver it to you at your home or office.  RUSH service is available if your order is needed sooner.

DO YOU OFFER DESTINATION SESSIONS?

Yes!  We take a limited number of destination sessions each year.  Let us know what location you have in mind and we can make it happen.
